My classmates made diverse arguments about the many ways that the internet facilitates collaboration in science. However, one of the most popular claims is that the internet increases and makes data or information sharing between different researchers seamless. For instance, Adaku Okarie, Chih-Wei Hsiao, and Ryan Hui agree. The second one is that the internet and computers assist individuals in handling and storing information while facilitating the execution of complex analyses. For instance, Calvin Kim and Ryan Hui claim to affirm the increased capability arising from the use of technology in research, enabling individuals to collaborate more. Thus, these aspects have positioned the internet as a fundamental enabler of research.
