Career Goals in the Future
Knowing one's goals in life is essential for any student. It allows him to have a clear plan to shape his knowledge, skills, and experiences towards his purpose in life. Accordingly, one of my ambitions in life five years after I graduate is to have my own small to a medium-sized brokerage firm with about five employees on board. I want my firm to cater to small investors and help them grow their investments without paying outstanding fees in large-scale brokerages.
However, before I can establish my worn firm, I would have to accumulate a lot of knowledge, skills, and abilities in various aspects of my life.
On the one hand, it is essential for me to thoroughly understand the foundations of finance and financial management aside from its theoretical aspects. Thus, I plan to take up internships, apprenticeships and even gain firsthand knowledge about how the business works from large-scale companies specializing in the industry. I plan on doing this from the time I enter the University and until I will be working for successful firms.
