Orfeo Opera
Orfeo (Orpheus) is a revival of music composition by Claudio Monteverdi, which is about a Greek legend of Orpheus. The music tells Orpheus's tale of going back to Hades (Greek god) and tries to bring his dead wife Eurydice back to the living world. It was composed in 1607 for a court concert and identified as the opera category's initial work.
In Orfeo, there was a leading soloist, dancers, chorus, and a big band of about forty participants. The distinguished viewers were excited and appreciated the historical importance of the performance. Monteverdi brings out diversity in Orfeo by using different kinds of music-duets, choruses, arias, and recitatives.
