Mona Lisa Art Painting by Leonardo da Vinci
Mona Lisa is a famous painting which is also commonly referred to as the portrait of Lisa Gherardini and it is speculated to be the picture of the wife of Francesco Del Giocondo. It was an oil painting done on a poplar wood panel by an Italian painter by the name Leonardo da Vinci. The painting took a dimension of 30 by 21 inches and portrayed an image of a seated woman. The painting was done in Florence Italy and took Leonardo close to three years to complete it. Although the painting was done arguably between 1503 and 1506, it`s rated amongst the most famous painting in the world. The painting exhibited ultimate art skills necessary to keep the audience attached to the painting. It is also widely recognized for its caricature impression.
Mona Lisa painting which is currently stored in Louvre museum in Paris and continues to attract lovers of artwork, as it displays some wonderful combinations of colors and drawing skills which still remain unique.
