1 To Robin Hood, or anyone else, what is the purpose of strategy?
Strategy directs organizations towards achieving specific goals. Making well-informed decisions makes a good strategy. They carry risks and seeks to deliver a specific, meaningful outcome. After analyzing the situation at the end, Robin has to head back and rethink how best to come back. He has to develop a strategy to achieve his plans. Robin's specific strategy is to steal from the rich and give to the poor CITATION Lam85 \l 1033 (Lampel).
2 What strategic problems does Robin Hood have?
His team membership has grown so much that he does not even know most of the recruits. The food capacity they had in the forest is running out, yet more recruits join the team. He is also worried about his officers' increasing fame, such as Scurlock, Will Scarlet, and Little John. When he is invited to join the conspiracy in return for future amnesty, he has to decide strategically if that is worth it. He also cannot discipline them.
Another problem that Robin faces is the financial position of his organization. He has to ensure a continuous flow of income that is enough to manage the team while distributing to the poor. At one point, he is even unable to convince his lieutenants to adopt a new strategy.

The organizational leader plays an important role in delivering change and achieving goals. Robin mobilizes his team by getting the necessary resources and developing his team, and he is the ultimate decision-maker. The team relies on his thoughts and decisions to make any major steps.
