Difference In post and Pre-colonial architecture
The pre-war architecture is very different from the post-war architecture. The post-war design depends on the new technologies of construction. After the world war two, there was so much improvement on the architectural work than the ones of post-war. The use of reinforced concrete, steel and glass were introduced in the post-war period while the people of the pre-war period used the neoclassical architecture and the Beaux-arts which were very popular in the 19th century. An example of a building during the -prewar period was the construction of arches where the builders used the iron sheet in the construction. The post-war buildings included the construction of towers where the contractors used concrete and glass in the construction works.
