How America has been "A Champion and a Vindicator" of Her Own According to Adams

Essay Instructions:

Because of the few orders, the job requirements are the same, afraid to meet the same writer. I hope that the writer can be original, and never have similarities with my classmates. The following is the essay requirement. Please choose a document from the Major Problems readings for the week you are writing. In a 1-2 page paper please respond to your chosen document. Your paper should include a bibliographical reference, and should have 2 parts to it.
The first part of your paper should be a candid response to the document. Did you enjoy this document, did you find it overly long, or difficult to understand? Why did you choose this document to respond to? Did something about it stick out as familiar or surprising? Was there something you found interesting or intriguing?
The second part of the paper should focus on why the document was created in the way it was. What type of document is it (an article, a speech, a letter, etc)? Who was intended to read it? What did the author want to accomplish or say through the work, and just as importantly- were they successful in their aims? Why or why not? What choices did they make that allowed the work to achieve that aim (or not)? Does your analysis of the document relate to your earlier reaction to the document (is it suitable that you didn’t find a supreme court case to be very exciting, or that a political speech was written in clear accessible language)? Remember to be specific and use examples from the text (with citations) to describe your ideas.

Nothing is surprising or unfamiliar with the document. This is because Adams explains how America has been good to other nations supporting them and always maintaining peace which it's not unfamiliar or untrue, it's just what America is and what America does. It's interesting how Adams praises America to be a good nation that preaches "Equal liberty, equal justice, and equal rights".[Merrill, Dennis & Thomas G. Patterson. Major Problems in American Foreign Relations. #Pg 118]
The document is a speech by the Secretary of state John Quincy Adams which he wrote as a warning and expression of his fear of what recognition could do to the United States in Latin-America and what enlarging US commitments abroad would do to the nation at home. The speech was written to the new governments so that they could understand why America hesitated in getting recognition and expanding their commitments abroad and what doing so would do the American nation (Poston). Breaking away from the Spanish rule and European intervention is what Adams was explaining why they did so and why it was necessary.[Merrill, Dennis & Thomas G. Patterson. Major Problems in American Foreign Relations. #Pg 117] [Merrill, Dennis & Thomas G. Patterson. Major Problems in American Foreign Relations.  #Pg 118]
As the topic of the speech goes," Monsters to destroy", Adams explains in depth what America has done for th...
