The mention of the word America is one that brings to mind certain aspects that are associated with the culture that is American. Freedom, liberty, opportunities and dreams among others. These are concepts that have been engrained in the people through the various forms of media, since the nineteenth century. It is a concept that best explains the way people have been directed to understand the meaning of the world and the culture behind the word (Burgett and Hendler 2018). However, this is a word that is quite controversial. Much of what people have come to believe is largely misguided.
