Sanford Kwinter’s article "FFE:Le Trahison des Clercs (and other Travesties of the Modern)" (1999), reveal that architectural production theory has never been taken seriously as it ought to be simply because the theorists and designers have often gone beyond their professional confines that has resulted in the mixture of unreliable concepts, texts, and arguments. Kwinter backs his assertion by claiming that the wave of neocapitalism has strengthened the market forces in the architectural sector but that has not been reflected in the resultant efficacy and intelligence.
