A movie review usually evaluates a specific movie or a film that involves the summary plot production and any other crucial information. Therefore we shall assess the Titanic movie using the auteur theory. James Cameron’s film Titanic is a tragic cruise in the tradition of the Hollywood epics. It is a movie that is faultlessly crafted, wisely constructed, powerfully acted, and fascinating. Hence, a viewer can identify a remarkably unique style that the director of the film James Cameroon uses and assured stylistic parallelism in his movie Titanic. Titanic film involves a 17 years old lady known as rose Dewitt who is navigating to whatever she perceives as her fate. Her poor mother was forced her to get engaged to a rich and snob man is known as Cal Hockley. She is so bitter about all this idea, and she tries to assassinate herself by jumping off the ship. She is saved by a young man known as jack Dawson; after that, they fall in love in the brief time they met. On the other side, Ismay wants to break the record of trans-Atlantic record by speeding the ship. However, he is cautioned that the icebergs might have soared in the northern crossing; however, it is contemptuous of risk. The titanic ship tries to break the record; however, it is too heavy to turn at high speed. The ship attempts to turn away from the iceberg, but it fails instead. The titanic movies, as a result, start sinking. The film is very close to the tragedy. It shows a story of a beautiful love that has an unfortunate ending. The production of the movie began in mid-1966 in the Novia scotia. Later in 1996, the film was shifted to Mexico, where the whole titanic ship was constructed. By November the same year, the movie was ready to be shot (Cooke, 2008).
Titanic movies can therefore be analyzed using the auteur theory.
