According to David, a coach is primarily responsible for determining whether or not the client is ready for change (Management Help). He or she may ask a couple of questions to make things clear. For instance, the coach can ask if the client has sufficient money; if they say no, then the coach is required to arrange money before starting the project. Having sufficient funds means the project can be completed on time. This also means that the client is ready to change himself or herself.
From the links, I have understood that there are five main stages of the change model: Procontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, and maintenance (Management Help). The coach is responsible for paying the utmost attention to all these things in order to be able to complete the project perfectly and timely.
