According to David, the most important skills used in a coaching environment are listening, questioning, supporting and encouraging (Brodie, 2017). Without any of these skills, it may not be possible to create peace and harmony in the coaching environment. David further says that listening is more important than any other skill. If we are good listeners, it will be easy for us to question, support or encourage.
