Coaching is an essential process that helps individuals charts their future pathway. It focuses on an individual as a whole as opposed to state board accredited counselors that deal with historical pain or distress. Coaches help individuals to realize their inward potentials that are critical in attaining success in different aspects of life (Cole, 2019). They do not deal with trauma or assist clients in overcoming discomfort or mental apprehension. It is the therapists or counselors that deal with such psychological health issues. Life coaches in their professions deal with healthy clients seeking for a mentor to help them improve their personality or realize specific life goals. I therefore agree with David the two professionals have significant differences.
