One aspect of President Joe Biden's foreign policy objectives that he outlined during his campaign relates to addressing the existential climate crisis: the Biden administration is intent on rejoining the Paris Climate Accord and leading a major diplomatic push to increase the ambitions of countries' climate targets (BidenHarris, 2021).
