In this world, there is the notion of comparisons mainly between developing and underdeveloped countries. Testing the capacity of a country to make there own unique ways to increase developments of their country. Comparisons mainly tackle things about the government primarily, how it functions, and how it controls the said nation. In addition to the government functions, we also need to focus on their laws and ethical conduct. Thus, every country has its way of achieving justice. Being a citizen of Nepal certain governmental differences arise when I compare it with China. China being one of the leading developing countries in the world, modernization took over the beliefs that should be changed in the country.
Focusing on the landscape of human rights or the main attributes of law itself differs from both Vietnam and China. Vietnam having a communist type of government, mainly have the problem of the monopoly of power by the leader who solely has the control over political and social affairs of the country. People who try to mislead and fight against it will be punished by the terms the government would want to. In terms of political rights, freedom of expression, associations, and any form of assembly are considered against the law. Every socio-economic paraphernalia are controlled by the government including television, radio, newspapers, and other types of published media. Anything that is without government concern is invalid with the law and strict punishments are indicated (Purnama, Sharom, Mullen et al., . 2015).
Activists are the people who try to contest their government, are the ones who are primarily affected by the maltreatment of their rights. Any way of questioning the governmental policies, projects, defending local resources such as land could lead to an unjust way of giving punishments. These will include house arrests, harassment, travel bans, interrogation, and so on. In the present era, until now freedom of expression is not of easy route. Bloggers and independent media providers are the ones who are mainly facing the problem of freedom of expression. It is a usual thing that when you try to attack any government official or any part of the government itself, assaults or life threats could be administered to you. Thugs who are paid with bounty just to stop the people criticizing government members and telling the truth behind their misdoings could be assaulted. On the religious side of Vietnam people, the government also tends to have a part in the issuance of the religion. This includes strict monitoring and surveillance of the said religion, registration requirements that should be met by the religious groups and legislation. Religious groups are needed to be approved by the government to practice their beliefs. Coming with this approval is a must not to stipulate or criticize the government in response to or betterment of their religion. Any religion that is outside the control of the government can be assaulted or harassed by the police. In terms of laws regarding children’s rights, the main agenda is allowing children underage to work (Purnama, Sharom, Mullen et ...
