Joe Biden’s decision to formally rejoin the U.S in the Paris climate agreement was an intelligent move since it t aims at averting Global warming, a move that demonstrates the country’s willingness to act in the interest of the human rights of people from all around the world (Schultz et al., 2019). Leaders should be driven to ensure that every action they take ensures that human rights are protected.
Biden joined the Paris climate accords as he argued that it is a global existential crisis, and failure to act upon it will result in unpleasant consequences (Peltier & Sengupta, 2021).
