Opening Statement
The government is an authority whose major role is to maintain order and peace in the society. It is a system that prevents conflicts among its subjects by creating laws to guide people in their interactions and protecting its members against any external aggression. Therefore, a government acts as a parent in a family, whereby the children act as citizens. In the same way that a parent provides all the basic needs to the family and ensures a fair system of resource distribution, the government is also responsible for governing its citizens.
Summary
Every child within a family has an equal right as the other. In any family, conflicts are bound to arise and so the parents acts as the authority, who ensures that the children coexist peacefully. A parent protects his or her children from any external aggression.
