The relationship between team effectiveness and servant leadership is that leaders need to have certain features like innovativeness; cooperation and collaboration in several areas to achieve the desired goals. A leader needs to make decisions, solve problems, adapt to change, make plans by encouraging positive working climate. This equally applies to servant leadership that requires an attitude of serving others first. Meaning a leader needs to be a servant leader by identifying and meeting the needs of employees. Team effectiveness was developing trust similar to a servant leader who needs to from a long-term relationship with his followers by caring and encouraging growth and development overtime for employees to reach their fullest potential(Fast, 1970).
