Jeff Bezos is an American entrepreneur and the pioneer of e-commerce. He is currently the richest man in the world according to Forbes Magazine. He is the founder and CEO of Amazon and the owner of the Washington Post. Furthermore, he recently founded the first airspace exploration company known as Blue Origin (Solanki, 2019). He is a graduate of Princeton University class of 1986 with a degree in electrical and computer engineering. Bezos worked for several firms before becoming the youngest vice president in D.E. Shaw, an investment company (Tiekam, 2019.
In the year 1994, he resigned from D.E Shaw and moved to Seattle to venture into e-commerce by opening his online bookstore.
