Resources are necessary requirements employed in an organization for it to achieve its main goals. Merging resources for the aim of attaining set goals can be stressful for organizations, different types of resources such as plant and machinery, human resources, fixed assets, training materials, raw materials, occupational health and safety resources, technological software and equipment, necessary refurbishment materials for the offices are necessary depending on the industry one is majoring. Resources differ with size of the organization, business activities and location. For example, smaller businesses such as pizza delivering company will only require few computers, several telephone sets, delivery means such as motorcycles, and medium offices. On the other hand, big organizations such as those that operate in different nations require wide range types of resources merging such as thousands of computers, training rooms, sophisticated communication resources, huge office supplies and many office furniture and equipment.
In order to determine the resources requirements in an organizations, the firm personnel should:
1 Identify the organization ranges and types of resources to merge in order to achieve its objectives.
2 List all the organization issues and requirements to consider in the determination of the organization resource requirements.
3 List the peoples and other organizations that influence your resources allocation and merging.
4 Factors to consider when budgeting in the organization such as the constraints that limit the amount allocation to specific resources acquirements and how the constraints affect the firm’s recommendations.
5 Resource merging recommendations and the involved parties in the recommendations.
Homeland security challenges
Therefore, for effective and efficiency resource merging one should understand the organization activities, the industry of operation, the skills and expertise of employees, number of employees and the products and services the organization is offering. This essay is going to discuss the factors that affect the processes that influence the homeland security effectiveness in dealing with terrorism prevention, detection and the terrorism analysis.
The federal government enacted the homeland security department specifically to deal with protecting the citizens of America from threats of terrorism. The main mission for the homeland security was to secure the nation through appropriate ways that maintained and preserved the American freedom and prosperity.
Each day, terrorists around the world keep changing their tactics of attacking nations and staying covered and hidden from being caught, the homeland security purpose was to study their activities and keep nation updated with their activities.
