Introduction
"Globalization" is a term often misused or overused. It would be important to get a more in-depth understanding of the process of globalization including the changes that are distinct that get involved here and the way they affect human health. According to Waters (2001), globalization is a concept that refers to both the intensification and compression of consciousness of the affairs and operations of the world and creating both a concrete interdependence amongst members of the globe and their consciousness as a whole.
Due to varied factors such as age, sex, geographical location, ethnic origin, level of education and socioeconomic status, the impact of globalization on human health are simultaneously negative and positive, and since one of our key challenges is creating socially and environmentally forms of globalization that are sustainable, there is need to share benefits and lowest costs equitably than we are currently doing. This is with the view that globalization is, in the very essence of the word, clearly not unstoppable. The health community must therefore engage in a more upfront manner in current research and debates with globalization as the key subject and in addition encourage the values that shall promote human health while at the same time the captains of the process of globalization process should recognize that the important bit of attending to impacts of health shall strengthen globalization and make it sustainable for a long time.
There has been great progress in the quest to improve the life expectancy of the globe in the past one hundred years.
