The three primary Frontier heritages that impacted Florida's politics are Spanish, Frontier, and Southern heritage. These heritages enabled Americans to discover the effects that other cultures have on their country. Some of the activities in Florida's Frontier heritages include exhibitions, history-based events, and activities.
The Southern heritage comprised of the confederate and slave states. In particular, confederate states are sympathizers of the North. Slave states are those that supported slavery before the American Civil War. For this reason, it was difficult for members of these two states to support a similar agenda since they conflicted on various subjects, which means they shaped Florida's politics. Other crucial things in the Southern heritage that shaped Florida's politics are democratic control and reconstruction.
