Benjamin Whorf set out a hypothesis that points to language as a key influencer that shapes a person's cultural realities. According to Sapir-Whorf hypothesis, language is seen to limit the thought process of an individual. In this context, the theorist used the term culture to denote the values, norms, and beliefs the society exhibits. I agree with this hypothesis from my daily observations where individuals using violent languages tend to act in a manner that is in line with the way they talk.
