One of the things that a valid argument should have is enough logical support in its premises. Second, the premises should be true (Salmon 2012). When evaluating an argument, these are the key elements one looks for. Third, when one makes an argument, they influence their readers or listeners (Salmon 2012). For instance, if the logical support in the premise has been fabricated, then the audience is likely to agree with the conclusion even though it is wrong. Hence, it becomes important for the audience to conduct their research and ascertain the truth in the argument.
