The Da Vinci Code are Widely Viewed Across the World

Essay Instructions:

The Catholic Church still hates The Da Vinci Code. So, answer the following two questions:
How did the movie shape or change your view of the Catholic Church? If you already knew about the Catholic Church, did it change any of your perceptions? If you don’t know much about the Catholic Church, what sort of characterization has it given you?

Do you think the Church is right in its indignation, or is its anger misplaced?

In some instances, it may become difficult to differentiate between fact and fiction in movies that use true stories as a basis to build on their plot development. However, by understanding the purpose of movies and the process it involves to awe viewers, directors may be inclined to introduce debatable aspects that make the movie more interesting.
