Personal Perspective and The History of Applied Science Fields
Cyber-attacks. TI chose IT and Cybersecurity as my favorite program because I have a passion for help in protecting people and businesses from online fraud. Much of what I have witnessed in the news and experienced firsthand over the years inspired my interest in this field of work. Most businesses and government agencies seek these specialists to aid in fortifying networks, protecting sensitive data and warding off malicious hacking attempts (Stefanescu et al., 2019). That was the most intriguing thing to me. Given the proliferation of hacker collectives, there should be as many good hackers as bad ones.
Since the first virus appeared, this hacking and identity theft pattern has stood out. With time, cyber security has evolved into a potential problem. Several harmful tools currently pose a threat to IT systems. Malware and phishing have emerged as significant problems recently (Stefanescu et al., 2019). Internet con artists are finally coming into their own. My ultimate goal is to be the person who stops or at least helps stop these attacks from happening. In most cases, cybercriminals are taking advantage of known security holes. Most states do not have comprehensive measures to track the risky environment. High rates of internet usage and connectivity may be contributing factors.
Malware has spread from individual computers to regional computer systems. At present, infrastructure all across the world is a target of potential threats. Targeting in attacks is becoming increasingly prominent. In general, cybercriminals utilize viruses as a template for their attacks.
