Personal Reflection
I selected these stories because they offer an all-around perspective on life. They also have a way in which life and spirituality coincide to give a person the renewed hope of a better future. I strongly believe that life involves different challenges that need people to take deep faith and sense self-understanding to succeed. Mark Berkson’s, Joyce’s, and Oby’s stories show how we change our life decisions or dream goals by considering what influences us. According to Joyce’s story, many people end up doing charitable services due to life experiences such as domestic abuse and battering. Mark’s story is essential in real life as it explains the career jobs of many people, which come from luck and coincidence. Oby’s story tells that people can have unexpected services they need to serve, and maybe it can be their lifetime career. Therefore, this shows that people should embrace unexpected callings in their life, such as offering charitable services to society or the community.
