The religions of the world have different beliefs and these often form the main issues or pointers of comparison. Christianity and Islam are two of the largest religions in the world with billions of believers all round the world. However, what many believers of these religions fail to realize is that they are quite similar and share some beliefs. For example, when one analyzes the concept of life and death, the results reveal deep similarities between the two religions. The concept of life and death has been one of the most controversial topics whenever people talk or discuss religions in the world. The main issue here is whether people will resurrect after they die as well as what happens after they die. While the concept of life and death is not the main issue or pointer of comparison between Islam and Christianity, it is one of the most debatable ones. Just like the Christians and their disregard of the Quran, Muslims have refused to buy into the idea or ideas of life after death as explained in the Holy Bible. Both parties seem to want to hold onto different principles despite some obvious similarities which indicate their closeness.
Muslims believe that Islam is a complete way of life and is a guidance provided by Allah. Allah is considered the only true God and the creator of everything in the earth. Additionally, as per the Muslims, every person in the world is born Muslim and when people convert to Muslim they are only coming back to where they belong. For example, when a Christian converts to Islam, they are only reverting back to their first religion and not adopting a new religion. First of all, Islam believes that everyone will die. Death will befall every man and this is clearly depicted in the Quran. “Everyone shall have to die” (Sura 3: 185). Therefore, there is no escape from death and everyone has to endure it. Life is temporary and every man ought to live their best versions before they finally breathe their last and go to be with Allah.
