Structuralist and Functionalist Schools of Thought
Introduction
Structuralism and functionalism played an important role in the early development of psychology. Since any scientific point of view is a systematic approach to the corresponding scientific discipline, these areas have become competing psychological schools. According to Titchener, psychology is the science of experience, which depends on the subject, this experience acquires (Ormerod, 2020). A person acquires experience through introspection (introspection), which he must train for.
