Explain Why It Is Important to Rely on Data During the Assessment Process?
Data plays a central role in making the right decision and taking the appropriate measures during the behavior assessment process. For example, in a classroom characterized by poorly performing learners, the behavior analyst can collect data about factors contributing to their deteriorating academic performance. The behavior analyst will analyze and interpret the data to inform the decision-making process to augment the students’ overall performance (Schildkamp, 2019). The behavior analyst leverages the results to develop clearer and measurable procedures and goals that students and their educators can apply to improve the learner’s performance.
Why Do We Not Solely Rely on The Information Reported to Us By The Parent Or Teacher?
