Sleep is one of the most important yet one of the scarcest commodities for any college student. Due to the need to balance several things such as work, academics, and even one’s social life and the abuse of certain substances such as alcohol and coffee, students tend to lose both the quantity and quality of their sleep. Accordingly, studies have shown that one of the easiest and most affordable ways to ensure one’s sleep quality is through constant exercise. On the one hand, Cheikh et al. (2018) show that physical exercise improves sleep quality by increasing sleep efficiency, lengthening rapid-eye movement sleep, and stage-3 sleep. Additionally, quality improvement was found to affect significantly. On the other hand, both the study mentioned above and others have shown that physical activity could also increase the quantity of sleep for college students CITATION Che15 \l 1033 (Chennaoui, Arnal, Sauvet, & Léger, 2015).
