How the Body Goes into Survival Mode and Stress and Caloric Anxiety

Essay Instructions:

This is a literature review essay and ALL references must be official (scholar). Some databases to start with are PsychNet, PubMed, Oxford Academic, Elsevier, NPG, etc. An introduction and conclusion are not required.
Thesis: People with Anorexia Nervosa (AN) have a reduced quality of sleep due to the body going into survival mode due to starvation, stress and caloric anxiety, and because weight loss in general reduces sleep quality.
What I need you to write are the details in the subheadings. There is no need to relate it back to AN because this is a snippet of my paper. I just need some help as I got injured and can't sit or stand for long and don't want to be behind by a semester. If you can find papers that have evidence via EEGs, that would be ideal. Remember to never quote, but have citations. Although there are no minimum citation requirements, I expect at least 2 per heading description.
1: Survival Mode
-how the body goes into survival mode from lack of food/calories and how that affects the ability to sleep
-maybe talk about the evolution but try to avoid this
2: Stress and Caloric Anxiety
-how stress reduces sleep quality
-how anxiety reduces sleep quality
3: Weight Loss and Sleep Loss
-people of all weight categories, when losing weight, have reduced sleep quality

Survival Mode
Food and water are vital ingredients for the functioning of the body. Restricting one's diet pushes the body to “survival mode”. The first thing the body does after diet restriction is loss of water in the body; therefore dehydration occurs because water is lost. Not maintaining the correct amount of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats to sustain blood sugar levels and insulin in the body results in deficiency and insulin struggle. Blood sugar levels can be maintained positively by eating carbohydrates and proteins, which are mostly used by the body for energy, unlike fats which are stored in the body. At this stage, one becomes malnourished, and sleep becomes a problem because the body cannot function properly. Muscle break down follows as the body cuts down weight through loss of water via sweating and muscles, therefore, weight loss should be done in a slow manner rather than fast ( Kales, 1995).
The next survival mode that the body enters is slow metabolism rates due to the shedding of muscles from the body. The body starts processing things very slowly and becomes sluggish. Calories used by the body are less even while walking, talking or performing any activity. This stage forces the brain to alert the body on using calories because it thinks that there is a shortage of food supply. Vitamins that we eat help in fighting illnesses, act as antioxidants, help bone generation, ability to think, and growth of the body. Therefore lack or insufficient supply of nutrients in the body leads to malnutrition. This makes the body look for carbohydrates in the fatty acid deposits that had been stored earlier, break them down to compounds that may work as energy-providing components, but in high overdose, they may lead to kidney and liver failure.
Brain activity is the last stop in the survival of the body as it suffers from working below average due to the components made from the fatty oil deposits in the body. This leads to brain fog, which causes visual impairments, a decline in brain growth and memory disability (Washuta, n.d). This leads to the projection of high levels of cortisol hormone which causes stress and depression. Stress is an inhibitor of sleep because it keeps the person awake and having anxiety.
Stress and Caloric Anxiety
Stress contributes highly when it comes to sleep as people with stress often lay awake at night due to lack of sleep. Some of the ways stress induces lack o...
