Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a condition where individuals have an illogically high sense of self-importance. Individuals with NPD exaggerate their successes and overemphasize their capabilities. These fellows disregard other people’s needs and feelings and expect to receive special treatment without anyone interrogating them (Crisp & Gabbard, 2020). The characters are often preoccupied with imaginations of power, success, brilliance, and reverence for their perfection and beauty. They look down on individuals they view as irrelevant, take advantage of colleagues to achieve their goals, brag a lot, and believe that other people envy them (Schalkwijk et al., 2021). Lastly, they usually claim to have the finest of everything and are superior to everyone, even without accomplishments.
