Article critique repeated measures ANOVA. Mathematics & Economics

Essay Instructions:

The practice of quantitative research not only involves statistical calculations and formulas but also involves the understanding of statistical techniques related to real-world applications. You might not become a quantitative researcher nor use statistical methods in your profession but as a consumer, citizen, and scholar-practitioner, it will be important for you to become a critical consumer of research, which will empower you to read, interpret, and evaluate the strength of claims made in scholarly material and daily news.
For this Assignment, you will critically evaluate a scholarly article related to repeated measures ANOVA.
To prepare
Review the Article Critique Assignment Guide in the Walden Library, listed in the Week 2 Learning Resources.
Search the Walden Library for a quantitative article that applies repeated measures ANOVA.
By Day 7
The Assignment
Write a 2- to 3-page critique of the research you found in the Walden Library that includes responses to the following prompts:
Why did the authors select repeated measures ANOVA in the research?
Do you think this test was the most appropriate choice? Why or why not?
Did the authors display the results in a figure or table?
Does the results table stand alone? In other words, are you able to interpret the study from it? Why or why not?

Repeated Measures ANOVA
Repeated measures ANOVA is a data analysis method that draws a comparison between variables which are obtained through repeated observations. The model can as well include zero or even more independent variables. Further, the method involves at least one dependent variable, which has more than a single observation. The approach was appropriately used in Diana’s (2015) study, ‘Repeated measures analysis on determinant factors of enterprise value.’ The method enabled the researcher to achieve the overall study objective of her research.
Why Repeated Measures ANOVA was selected
The choice of repeated measures ANOVA was motivated by the nature and scope of the study, and the overall objective Diana (2015) aimed at achieving. The scope of the study was to conduct an in-depth analysis of time variation on nonfinancial factors that corresponded to book value and market value. Diana (2015) chose to use repeated measures ANOVA because she considered the method was the most appropriate to achieve the scope of the study. Analysis of the nonfinancial factors was done using the repeated measures ANOVA was conducted effectively because it enabled Diana (2015) to compare the entity within the same sector of activity as well as identifying the resources they considered inimitable; such factors help in creating an added value.
Further, the method was used in this research because it allowed Diana (2015) to create a hierarchy of nonfinancial factors and then use the factors in identifying the resources with the most significant effect on the creation of added value. The method also enabled the researcher to conduct the analysis, and thus established that European multinationals do not focus on creating fruitful relationships with the local communities, implying that they do not invest in community development. Diana also sought to show that European multinationals do not support policies aimed at reducing energy consumption and helping energy climates since they have mainly focused on developing specific nonfinancial factors such as hum...
