UBI plays a significant role in transforming and creating a community culture where everyone has financial freedom. Therefore, UBI is a good idea because it will have some advantages like reducing poverty, boosting well-being, and improving people's income security without affecting the economy.
UBI might be significant in alleviating the stress caused by means-testing, conditionality, the uncertainty of whether support would be withdrawn, and the de-stigmatization of social security assistance; therefore, this may improve mental health and physical health wellness. It's easy to see the psychological benefits of a system that provides a consistent income free of complicated conditions, free of the dread of failing, and the feeling of being labeled a moocher or having to verify your eligibility regularly. The notion is supported by evidence from trials. In trials done, people on a basic income in Finland, one of the countries with the Universal Basic Income, show higher levels of life satisfaction, better health, and decreased levels of sadness and loneliness. Therefore adaption of this form of financial support will elevate people's lives away from issues related to mental health.
