Question 1
A doctor’s schedule is ever busy and satisfying every patient is very hard. However, there are ways in which a doctor can have patients like him or her. Some of the features of the appointment schedule system that are crucial to ensure a doctor has grateful patients include being a good timekeeper. As a doctor, you always have to be on time for appointments. It plays a big role in ensuring patients' satisfaction. Doctor Schafer says he is ever punctual in all his appointments, something he says has always kept his patients grateful (Jacobs & Chase, 2018).
Another feature is an appointment reminder. Doctor Schafer says his assistance always calls his patients to remind them of their appointments and especially when they are late. This makes the patients feel special and feel that they owe the doctor. When patients are ready for attendance, a doctor should not keep them waiting without giving them a reason. Leaving a patient waiting and giving them a reason would give them a reason to come back again. Doctor Schafer claims he never leaves his patients without giving them a reason. He even gives them the option of waiting or booking for another appointment (Jacobs & Chase, 2018). Other features include easy booking, openness with the patient, personalized shared calendars among others.

Schafer says emergencies are never that many to interrupt a doctor’s schedule, but when such a case arises, patients need are given time to reschedule.
