My Previous Job as a Customer Care Attendant
Working as a customer care attendant was an exciting experience as it involved being the first individual clients contacted whenever they wanted to do business with my employer. The job involved helping the customers transact their businesses, which included ordering and purchasing products from the firm. Additionally, the job involved handling some clients’ complaints while advising others on various issues. Other responsibilities included communicating with other merchants, escalating issues when needed, and working to targets.
The Value of a Great Performer Compared to an Average Performer
As average performers struggle to set their goals and are unclear about what they should accomplish, high performers define their direction and purpose. The latter plan and understand how to achieve their goals, while the former do not make progress. Other differences between the two include the following.
A Great Performer Welcomes New Challenges while an Average Performer Takes Time to Change
Great performers are ready to learn new skills to help them accomplish their goals. In addition, they are always prepared to face new challenges and accept change as it comes since they understand that growth opportunities come with change. In contrast, average performers are comfortable with their tasks and responsibilities as they concentrate on their strengths. Average performers fear discovering new skills, worrying that they may complete the new tasks wrongly the first time or be inadequately prepared for the job.
A Great Performer has a Positive Attitude that Promotes Teamwork
Competent employees have positive attitudes and behaviors that promote their job performance and employers’ returns. Workers’ attitudes differentiate high performers from average performers.
