Teamwork is central element to ensure that organizations are successful in their operations. There are five main stages involved in teamwork formation. These stages are forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning. Forming happens when the team members meet each other. The second step is storming where members think and share their thoughts on the operations of the team. Norming involves setting the rules, norms, and regulations of running the team. Performing is the actual operation of the team. Adjourning is the last stage where the group breaks up and members dispatch.
