Equifax Seminar The OMM 500F-SP22 Industry Seminar was held on 8^th February 2022 and was hosted by Washington University on Zoom. The keynote speaker was Linda Liu, a leading strategic analyst at Equifax, while the other panelists were Kevin Qian, Ivy Xu, and Lehao Zyu. Professor Sergio Chayet offers Linda Liu the opportunity to introduce and lead the seminar’s undertakings and elaborate on the topic at hand. Linda started on Equifax Workforce Solutions, a business unit that provides income and employment verification, human resource compliance, analytic technology, and compliance services. Their business model encompasses consumer activity in government services, communications, credit, transportation, healthcare, loan repayment, mortgages and rent, new jobs, and student loans (Washington University, 2022). The data analysis unit of the organization involves an analytical consultant, data scientists, and data engineers that offer data science and analytical services, identify opportunities, and provide solutions. Data analysis entails four broad elements, which are procedural and include; descriptive research, diagnostic analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics. Linda is an expert in predictive analytics (PA), and she outlined that it involves PA in government services, supply chain, and financial services.
