Reflection on Mass Casualty Incident Management Coursework
The Mass Casualty Incident Management Coursework was based on lectures, practical experiences, written assignments, and classroom discussion, which sharpened my response skills toward mass casualties (Collins et al., 2021). The course was valuable for the persons indulging in the community services, fire management, disease management, and other natural and manmade mass incidents resulting in the loss or injury of many people.
The most challenging part of the course was to understand the concepts and then apply them in a particular state in written assignments. Finding the relevant information, legislations, and policies and their applications was throughout challenging for me. However, the course instructor guided us in the right direction in completing those assignments. My favorite part of the course was classroom discussion and the practical application of the concepts learned.
