Describe an example of a situation in a research paper in which one would expect to find a positive relationship and when one would expect to find a negative relationship. Do you think one can assign direction when both variables in a table are dichotomous? Why or why not?
The analysis of the relationship that subsists between two variables is usually through finding their positive or negative relationship.
