           Ethics refers to the moral norms and values governing people’s conduct and actions, mostly personal and professional lives. In academia, ethics is associated with the set of norms that govern conduct in the academic environment where stakeholders are empowered in academia. Personal ethics relates to ethics linked to people and situations where personal values and standards influence moral actions (Moyo et al., 2016). Professional growth is expected to follow professional standards and ethical conduct while promoting the ethical practice and ethical decision-making. Since ethics influences behavior and interactions, and when there is ethical practice e and conduct, people will likely act honestly and unethically.
