A Brief Description
Overhead management is the application of appropriate strategies and techniques to monitor and control how an organization spends, process approvals, and reimburse employees for expenses they have incurred on their own time. Overhead management assists an organization in gaining visibility into how funds are being spent and ensuring that employees adhere to the regulations of not spending too much money or purchasing unnecessary items, among other things.
The Purpose of the Criterion
The primary motive for overhead management is to keep track of how employees spend their money and how organizations pay for the expenses that they incur to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Overhead management encompasses all of the rules and processes used to manage spending simultaneously and the technologies and systems used to process and analyze the data related to it (Finly, 2019).
