According to Ivor van Heerden’s work, Hurricane Katrina in the book ‘The Storm’ is a dedication for the individuals who lost their lives due to Hurricane Katrina. The book is also dedicated to the individuals who selfishly made efforts to save lives during tragedy and disaster (Raker et al., 2019).
