Whenever Collier tried to do something new, he would admit having developed butterflies in his stomach and, his hands would shake. As he went on to grow in the career, he could experience the same feeling all the time, although the feeling reduced with time (Collier, 95). However, Collier would forget about the butterflies in his stomach, but upon questioning his development as a public speaker or interviewer, and that he no longer felt the anxiety, he would feel some butterflies in him, which means he provoked the anxiety to reinvent itself in him.
