In India, political participation is well established in the Constitution, supporting the right to vote for citizen Indian citizens above 18. The youth agitate for change and increasingly influence policy changes. In a democratic society where there is free political participation, voting is one way to get the youth heard. However, the youth are not always politically engaged beyond the digital world, even as they remain the biggest voting bloc (Mayank, 2021). There is political engagement for those who cannot vote, mainly supporting specific initiatives and positions as there is freedom of speech and association.
 The youth, like other citizens, grant the government and electoral system trust, but the youth’s participation in the political process is not as active as adults.
