Social Injustices in America Due to Racial Discrimination

Response to James Baldwin Name Institutional Affiliation Date In the text, On Being White, James Baldwin, a great American novelist talks about the various social injustices that were happening in America due to racial discrimination that had affected America. Through the text, Baldwin condemns the white community for despising the black people in America in various ways. One of the dominant ways through which the Americans have discriminated against the black people is through leadership. The white community consider themselves superior and they do not want to over any leadership opportunities to the black people. Baldwin argues that previously such incidents of racial discrimination were not inexistence in America but they came up after several different communities from different parts of the world migrated to America. They were forced to become white even though they were not white in terms of their racial origin.
