* Aim of the activity
The aim of this activity is to teach students reading strategies and how well they can apply these reading strategies in answering the exam questions. The reading strategies are very necessary for the students to comprehend and understand some of the basic skills that they require in reading comprehensions. These skills will help them answer reading comprehension questions.
The second aim of this reading activity is to motivate the students and help them form a morale for reading comprehension. Some students do not enjoy treading comprehension exercises due to some factors such as longevity of the reading texts. Through equipping them with the reading skills, at the end of the activity, the student shall have received a motivation that will help them develop a positive attitude towards reading comprehensions.
Thirdly, the activity is a group based reading activity. It will help the students to develop ties and friendships that encourage effective reading among the students. They shall all participate in the reading activity in a participative manner. Therefore, they shall all be engaged in the reading activity.
