He used the metaphor the world is a book, meaning for you to live life fully, you have to turn the pages thus, the more you travel, the more you explore many exciting pages. Accordingly, not traveling, an individual will read only one page over and over again. Just like a book, traveling expands our minds and enables us to explore different new things. Traveling involves seeing new things, experiences and places. While traveling, individuals learn about themselves, which cannot be done efficiently if they stay in one place.
Clearly, traveling from one place to another enables individuals to appreciate and understand new cultures.
