Having spent my formative years on the African continent, I see the need to provide students with reasonable accommodations to ensure their success on standardized tests. Throughout my academic career, I have suffered from severe test anxiety, which presents symptoms like a racing heart, a pounding head, and extreme anxiousness whenever I have to take a test in front of a group of peers.
